Hawa Drame
If you’re not familiar, Hawa Drame was a major voice in Mali. Her mother was a griot (Doussou Kone) and she began perfuming a the age of 6. She appeared in National Ensemble Instrumental du Mali for a few years, where she composed memorable works that became standards. She went on to win international awards and perform across Africa and the world. Her embrace and expression of Bamana musical traits was her signature til the end, when she passed away in 1996. She made a lot of records and I think I like this one the best.

Thank you very much Brian, I already had two other versions of this album, the first of the Kai Camara label, but your rip is the best ***, fantastic sound, nothing to do with the first contributions in the blog at 128mb.
But there is an error, you have to change the titles,01_Hawa_Drame_Yelema. The male voice and the first ngoni belong to Ganda Fadiga.
