Ouedraogo Issaka dit Zougna Zaguemda – En Concert A La Maison Du Peuple

Magnificently bare bones traditional music from Burkina Faso. I tip my hat to Issaka and his cash-laden attire.

About two days ago I arrived back in the states after spending about three weeks in Mali staying in Bamako and hiking in the Dogon. I was amazed by the amount of music there, live and recorded. You couldn’t escape it and it was wonderful. It really sparked my interest in African Music. A friend of mine told me about your blog and so i looked it up. I just wanna say that this is great and its much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I’m a Belgian black African music lover(most of all from Tanzania and Kenya).
I found your nice blog via other African music blogs.
In this case (discover Burkina Faso music) is impossible because your links carry off nowhere.
