Looking forward to checking this out… By the way, the recent Shadia post was really amazing… I bought a few of her tapes, mail order, from Brooklyn’s RASHID sales, but the one you posted is the best I’ve heard from her.

By the way, the second album is “SALOU KOUOUS ATTILA” written and composed by RIAD SOUMBATI and AHMED CHAWQI (1946)

thanks for this post. I have the cassette cover for the 2nd album, but not the cassette. I found it in a thrift store and thought it might be oum kalsoum. now i can finally listen to it. – charlie
