The Best of Yamoah’s Band – Vol. 1
Perfect Ghanaian highlife. Yamoah’s Band kills it so effortlessly here. Don’t mind the record crackles. Highlife Haven has a touch of background and a nice record sleeve.

Greetings! I’ve been reading your web site for some time now and
finally got thhe courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Huffman Texas!
Just wanted to mention keep up the good job!
Hey there! I really love and appreciate your site. I’ve been looking for download’s of Yamoah’s music and was excited to find this one, however I can’t seem to make the download link work? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks again!
sorry about that! i need to fix the links, will do that asap.
Hello Brian! I appreciate your timely response! I’m seeing the links are still down…I’m sure you’re aware and are a busy guy, please don’t interpret my excitement as impatience! Just wanted to let you know in case amongst more important matters this had slipped you mind. I wouldn’t blame ya!
Thanks,
Camille
Wow that was odd. I just wrote an incredibly long comment but after
I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear. Grrrr… well I’m not
writing all that over again. Anyway, just wanted to say great blog!
Hallo Brian Shimkovitz!
My best wishes for 2016! Indeed in 2015 you posted many interesting cassetts many of them I enjoyed much.
However I am somehow disapponted. It’s more than 14 months ago, you promised to fix the link of ”The Best of Yamoah’s Band – Vol. 1”.
It’s long time ago I traveled to english speaking countries, perhaps I do a mistake when I translate asap as ‘as slow as possible’ but I think the slowness has been successfully transfered into action now. If however I do a mistake and ‘asp’ means something different, please correct me.
Best regards / Thomas
Brian-
Could you please re-up this or send me a link… I am in love with Onipa Ye Bad and would love to hear the versions on the tape you posted… would love you forever
